Expert Advocacy & Systems Design for Education and Nonprofits

Humanity is in the details.
I founded Gunter Consulting to solve a critical problem: the gap between complex systemic requirements and the human beings they are meant to serve. With a background spanning special education leadership, social work, and clinical practice, I bring a "wrap-around" perspective to every partnership.

My Dual Mission: I believe that meaningful change happens at both the personal and the structural level. That is why my work is divided into two dedicated areas of focus:

  1. Advocacy for Individuals: Empowering students and families to navigate the complexities of Special Education, IEP meetings, and mental health supports with confidence and clarity.

  2. Strategy for Organizations: Partnering with K-12 districts, colleges, and nonprofits to design equity-driven, trauma-informed systems that are sustainable, compliant, and deeply people-centered.

Expert level knowledge

My approach is grounded in deep academic rigor and over a decade of "in-the-trenches" experience.

I hold a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California (USC).

My unique "bridge" of credentials includes:

  • Clinical License & School Social Work PPS Credential

  • Special Education Teaching & Administrative Credentials

  • Child Welfare and Attendance Credential
